We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter with a strong construction background who is interested in a Foreman role.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong hands-on plumbing skills with the leadership, organization, and communication abilities needed to take on increasing responsibility on the job site.

The successful candidate will initially work in a journeyman-level capacity while becoming familiar with company procedures, projects, crews, and expectations.

Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating daily plumbing activities and crew assignments

• Supervising and supporting apprentices and plumbing staff

• Coordinating work with other trades and site supervisors

• Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays

• Assisting with material and equipment planning

• Reviewing work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance

• Troubleshooting job-site issues and providing practical solutions

• Communicating project requirements and changes to the crew

• Promoting safe and efficient work practices

• Taking increasing responsibility for the successful completion of projects

This is an opportunity for an experienced Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter who is ready to move beyond the tools and develop into a strong, hands-on construction leader. The successful candidate will perform in a Foreman capacity based on demonstrated technical ability, leadership, reliability, and overall performance.

Desired Skills:
Journeyman Plumber certification

• Gasfitter Type A or B is an asset!

• Several years of hands-on plumbing experience in commercial mechanical work

• Strong construction background with experience working on active job sites

• Experience working with and coordinating multiple trades

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and plumbing drawings

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety requirements

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Comfortable providing direction and guidance to apprentices and other workers

• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic

• Ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

• Leadership responsibilities

• Previous supervisory or lead-hand experience

• Experience with construction scheduling, material coordination, or site supervision
